Rendering the list Horizontal in XLS vesrion

Hi
I am working on BIRT Version 2.2.1.
In BIRT Report List element display can display the record horizontal if the "display=inline" in the properties section for the pdf,word and the html version.
if list have values say A B C
we can display it as either like A B C OR as follow
A
B
C
In the pdf.word,and html vesrion.
But in Xls ie. in spreadsheet how i can display it like 'A B C' in horizontal manner ?
it displays vertically by default ?
is there any way to do it ?
